# Add a new Document to a Template

1. On **Designer Side** go to the **Document Tab Bar**.
2. Click on the **Add Icon (+)** on the left side of the **Document Tab Bar**. This will open up a **Alert Dialog** where you can enter a **Document Name** for your new **Document** into the **"Add new Document" Input Field** (By default the **Document Name** is **"New Document"**).  

||| **Notice:** Every **Document** in a **Template** needs to have a unique **Name**. You cannot have multiple **Documents** with the same **Name**.

3. Click **"Ok"** to add the new **Document**.
